IN MEMORY OF “CHIEF”
Chief, the longest resident of both the old shelter and the new shelter, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020.
Chief was a gentle and amazing cat that will be missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him and spending time with him. Those that lived in the sanctuary with him always respected him, and knew that he was indeed the Chief. His presence was one of a regal, gentle and loving acceptance.
Most everyone that visited the sanctuary fell in love with his beauty. People wanted to adopt him but “Chiefs” heart belonged right where he was.
Chief was considered family by both the volunteers and staff.
Rest In Peace Chief – you certainly were a one of a kind gentleman that will be sorely missed by all. We feel fortunate to have shared the time that we had with you and will forever hear your very special meow when you knew treats were coming your way. We love you buddy – fly free little one.
